    I know phones are your bread and butter but what about your tablets??? Will the EVO View 4G, Flyer or Jetstream get ICS?? I love my Evo View 4G but am very hopeful of ICS returning my hardware keys to me. I don’t like the wasted real estate lost thanks to Honeycomb.

    The color that mobile camera captured is not as good as camera. Nowadays, HTC mobile camera just has a higher resoultion only. If you try to capture products, you will find that the color of the product is not the same as captured product.

    I would like to offer a suggestion to help you with the often asked question of when will “x” be getting an update.
    Make like a table of devices and their status like “will be updated”, in process, etc. that way you can direct people to that and they can watch the progress.

    Sounds great, a rather bad year for HTC in 2011 and I think we would like to see some real flagship with elegant design, strong hardware and appropriate pricing, just like the old days

    Design? All your devices look the same. Since the HD2 all HTC devices follow the same design pattern. 3 years and 100+ devices with the same “hot dog” hardware designs.

    Pretty boring handsets either in Windows Phone or Android version. Heck, your upcoming phones @ MWC look like the same rehashes from last year. if I want to replace my Galaxy S, I will look for Apple, Nokia, Samsung, Motorola and even Sony hardware before taking a look on your devices.

      you’re the one to talk you own a galaxy s…. which looks like a certain other phone… besides Samsung is in no hurry to change their designs. plastic plus center home button for their hundreds of phones.. that could also be said for other phone makers

    There are 2 big flaws in the latest htc phones (even the upcoming ones) that make me have a look at other brands:
    1. their design – they havent changed since 2009!
    2. new Sense – HTC has worked so hard to ensure no one can differentiate ICS from Gingerbread! even the colors at the top bar have been kept green 
    i hope someone at HTC hears meee ;)

      Want to know why this difference in price between Italy and the rest of europe? simply because in Htc know that Italians are more “chickens” and they have to spend much money just to have the most powerful phone.Compliments to Htc… I wanted to take the One X but I think I’ll spend much of Sony Ericsson or Huawei!

    I love everything about the HTC One X. Please please please tell me that you are bringing this phone to Verizon Wireless in the US. Will this be replacing the Rezound? I want to support HTC and I love your devices, but the Rezound is just not competitive right now. I want this One X!

    if i call my uncle it is showing correct number but it shows the wrong name which is my friend’s name in my contacts and wrong pic as well which is my brother’s pic..
    what is the problem and how can i fix it…

    Smartphones are pretty amazing, pretty to look at and pretty useful for a variety of things… they’re also pretty much depleted after 3 hours of use. With the huge aftermarket sales of extended 3500 maH batteries, surely the 1st manufacturer to see common sense and make a phone capable of a full days use by using a (minimum requirement) 3500 mah or even bigger PLEASE, will capture the biggest market share. I hate having to carry a charger round all day with my Desire HD and going somewhere that I cannot access a plug socket means having to take 2 phones  or additional batteries, why carry 2 1500 mah batteries when HTC could forget about ultra thin and make ultra capable, ultra user friendly, ultra long lasting by using a bigger battery.

    small batteries in an ultra thin phone is like having a ferrari….. with a 1 gallon tank loads of power and features but the daily drive between fuel stops will be short.

    I owned a Sensation XE for approx 2.5 months, When i have the mobile data ON, the battery life will be approx 6 hours (medium usage)… it means i cannot use mobile data at all, coz 6 hours is insufficient , meaning i always have to carry another mobile battery (battery bank) with me. Without mobile data, it can easily last me 12 hours with WIFI ON always. Kind of crappy!

    Hi guys, can you explain  us your politics about htc one x price in Italy?

    We don’t understand why in france the price is 550 euros in germany  is 589 euros, in england 599 euros, and in italy 699 euros!!!!!( for the records we have the same fiscality)
    As many italian htc costumers i’m going to preorder the one x in france because 150 euros is a normal price to repair a broken phone without warranty!!

    Hi, how can i update ICS for HTC Flyer?
    I used to update via HTC Flyer by go to Software update and check update then it completed download then reboot for update, but after reboot it show only blue android man and triangle exclamation icon i wait for 1 or 2 hours nothing update :(

    I recently got the One X- I was using iphone for the last 3 years so its a massive jump for me (someone whos anti-droid lol)

    Its a great phone, love everything about it especially the camera except for ONE THING…. Just randomly it will automatically change my homescreen settings. Example; I had a photo frame on my home page. Then I moved it to the second page- later on that day i unlocked my phone and the photoframe has appeared on the homepage again, as well as the second page! Even thou I deleted it and added it to the second page.

    Then today i was using my phone, it locked automatically. After some time i went to unlock it to use it and my wallpaper was set to the orignal scene and all my custom pages were set to the original ones!!!!

    Does anyone else have this problem? Or am Im doing something wrong?
    Its quite frustrating as Im new to android still.

    Is there a way to downgrade from ICS back to gingerbread? ICS is so bad, so poor and so buggy that if I cannot downgrade back to gingerbread I am seriously left with no option but to go apple. My HTC sensation, which I absolutly need for work which worked perfectly with gingerbread is now unusable for any scenario. Can HTC send me an OTA for gingerbread?

    Hello HTC Blogging Team!!
    I must say that I am the proud owner of one of the best multimedia phones  – “Desire HD”. I am using this phone since February 2011 (completed more than 1 year). Well… when I bought this cell, It came with Android 2.2 (FROYO) with HTC sense 2.1 and after that I have updated my phone regularly as whenever HTC rolled-up their updates like Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) and recently updated it with Android 2.3.5 with HTC sense 3.0.
    Firstly, Thanks for the updates and work you guys do to offer the best among the industry. However, I have some concerns about the quality/features which have not been taken care of:

    1. As we all know the photos and videos can been viewed in 2 orientations:
    A. Landscape and
    B. Portrait
    Now, My concern is, Why I or (any HTC Desire HD user) is not getting the “smooth transition effect”?  Transition effect – The way photo/video changes its orientation from portrait to Landscape or vice-verse.
    - I have compared this with any of the Apple products OR Samsung Galaxy/Note devices and found HTC is lagging to make this happen though using HTC sense 2.1 and 3.0. This should be done on high priority to compete with other higher end devices.

    2. When I start the camera to take photo, I make it focused on the object (manually focused or auto-focused), so after capturing the picture, I see the the focused part displays sharp but the other parts as well as corners of the photo gets blurred. This lets me down when I compare the quality of a 8 MP camera with other devices. This need to be taken care of on priority

    Please give attention to the points mentioned above and implement the fix/improvements in the upcoming releases.

    HTC Sensation XL on O2, no ICS update yet, well stressed. Every time I press the “check for updates” button and it says “no updates”, a little part of me dies :( . This is the first HTC Android phone I have had after having every single Apple iPhone. I must say HTC, this is really not good. Apple would never do this!!!! Don’t get me wrong I’m happy with the XL, fantastic piece of kit, battery especially, but updates wise…… NOT GOOD!

    Hi, I’m using HTC Sensation XE…  and it’s fine… everything is good especially the camera…. the only 2 problem is that I can’t sync my phone to my laptop (even though i installed the latest htc sync, and also reinstalled it)…. it can’t recognize my phone…. and the second one is that when I go to facebook and I post a photo on my profile, it will be posted but it will says “via mobile” but I wanted it to be “via HTC Sense” just like my cousin… So how can I sync my phone to my laptop(dell) and how can i use htc sense?    complete details please thanks!!  oh and I can’t post anything(status/photos) on my group….. is it really like that??

    Hi I’m a proud owner of the ONE X why has HTC neglected
    to supply stores with accessories in the UK, from You Tube elswhere they get case and mini beats earpiece.
    I went to the air time provider when I received the unit only to be told there are none in the country and. That was 10 days ago. I now have the misfortune or a smashed screen XXXX-XXXX-XXXX (these are not kisses)
    WHY WHY WHY !!!!!!!!.

    I am broken hearted this is going to cost big time.

    IF HTC loves their customers
    help them to keep their beloved BFF safe from harm.  I’ve been a HTC user since their launch of XDA
    with O2 and always got a case and screen protector. This seem’s to have ended
    after Touch Pro ( Serra for O2 customers).
    Come on HTC this is supposed to be your relaunch give you customers in the UK something extra above the rest.

    Very Very Very disappointed end user.

    Just updated my sensation to ICS and the phone has stopped working properly. Any ideas what to do. I cannot access my text messages or send new. im on orange network, but they cant help. Say its the update thatsw causing the problem.

    I cannot update my htc desire hd. whenever it downloads the update and i select to install now; its shuts down and vibrates three times. after that the screen remains blank and the orange light keeps on blinking. throughout the waiting process phone is kept on charge.

    now i cannot even select to reboot phone because the phone does the same in recovery and the reboot process. It’s kind of dead now.

    how can i bring it back to life. Back to froyo when i bought it.

     I was hoping to buy an Htc One X but after going through online reviews I saw that it’s having low fps problems on video recording and it’s image quality is not even good as compared to Samsung’s Galaxy SII. Can someone please share their experiences and when HTC will fix the low fps issue? Cause this is really effecting my decision to buy One X.

    It’s already a month I’m waiting for the help from the HTC support team on the critical issue I had reported. Wi-Fi stopped working on my HTC Sensation after upgrading to ICS 4.0.3 in Armenia. Can someone help me or at least provide an information about the fix.

    This is now getting completly ridiculous.
    I purchased the HTC Jetstream at the very start of the year based on the fact that it was one of the best tablets around and that it would be upgradable to ICS.

    I can understand there being delays for it but It has now being a while and not a peep from HTC?

    I wouls apreciate at least if you had the decency towards your customers to tell us if the update will take place…

    This “code of silence” (your ics update page seems to be down…. surprise surprise…) only leads to irritate ccustomers and to make us shy away from your products…. it is not as if the tablet world is a small world.

    Lets just say that the chances of me getting rid of my tablet are increasing more and more and i might have to go towards anything with better customer service and follow trough.

    It is also leading me away from purchasing the HTC One X… How long woud updates for that one take whenever Android 5 (Jelly Bean) come out?
