We’re 10,600 meters above Germany as I write this; making our way to Warsaw, Poland for our next round of customer meetings. The HTC One road show has been a tremendous success so far, and we’re only just getting started. We’ve spent the past two days in Paris meeting customers — who took a day off from work – and walking the streets of the city testing the features of HTC One.
From the Tour Eiffel to Arc de Triomphe to the Musée du Louvre, we’ve had a great time seeing the sights of Paris and talking to our customers about how HTC is making a difference in their lives.
Fans like Insantih Phonphakdy from Lyon. Not only has he converted his entire family to HTC devices, he also told us how he believes the new slow-motion video recording in HTC One will help him with his Tae Kwon Do. As an instructor, he will be able to use this video technology to record his students and help them review their forms, kicks and more. As a member of the French National Team, he can record his own sessions, making it easier to scrutinize his own technique. This is a creative and real-world use of the HTC One we hadn’t previously considered!
After the excitement of a short Tae kwon do demonstration, we walked to the iconic Musée du Louvre to put the new HTC One X and One S to the test. It was the perfect location; the only place in Paris where the Arc de Triomphe, Tour Eiffel, Grande Arche and the Louvre Pyramid are all visible from one spot. Some of the shots taken by our fans are pretty incredible, as you can see by these samples.
After spending the day with our enthusiastic customers – they really enjoyed using the HTC One – we walked the cobblestone Champs des Elysses back towards Arc de Triomphe and on to an early dinner at Café Trocadero.
Our next European stop is Warsaw where we’ll be meeting some of our most passionate Polish customers and giving them some hands-on time with the HTC One series before anyone else in Poland – very exciting stuff.
Of course, don’t forget our colleagues in Asia who have been meeting customers this week in Bangkok and Jakarta. We’ve been hearing great things from our customers there as well. There will be plenty more to report over the next couple of days as we move on to India and Italy to meet even more of our great customers and let them test HTC One.
Merci a tous pour cette magnifique journée a Paris avec vous. Au Revoir mes amis et à très vite!
