HTC Meet-ups around the world

HTC One is the most exciting smartphone we’ve launched. Not only am I incredibly proud of what our designers and engineers have produced, I’ve also been thrilled by the reception from bloggers and press.

But we don’t build phones for the press, we build them for you, our fans all around the world. That’s why we want to know what everyone thinks of them. So we’ve embarked on a round-the-world trip to bring HTC One directly to our fans.

Over the next several weeks, we’re going to dozens of cities, from New York to New Delhi, Paris, London, Warsaw, and many more.  Why? So we can share the HTC One experience with our fans. Follow our adventures here on the HTC blog and let us know what you think.

    Ever since I have owned my first smartphone, HTC is my choice. I even convinced several friends to share HTC experience. They all agree that HTC is brilliant. I am very happy seeing in the the map that Bangkok is listed. I will be seeing your show. A bit sad that I just bought my Sensation XE as a replacement of my Legend this January; otherwise I will be owning this supurb One X. Anyways, Sensation XE is still my lovely phone.

    Very conflicted on the One X (or Evo when it comes to Sprint) versus Galaxy Note.  I currently have an Evo 4G and love it, the one thing it does better than the 4x is battery freedom.  I carry 2 batteries, both are stock but I know excessive charges accelerates battery demise so I use the newer one fully charged to empty and the older one when tethering.  From what I understand the one X does not allow for battery changes which is a deal killer for me.  It is too bad, I really love everything else about the One X, but I cannot see buying a phone to last 2 years when I will lose much of the battery after 1 year of use.

    Please please please bring this roadshow to Los Angeles you have no idea how vital it is that you do. The Only thing HTC has been viewed as lacking so to speak is a GREAT (not good) camera. People NEED to be able to get they’re hands on that camera and see how good it is for themselves. What better place to promote your new amazing image technology than Hollywood a place where image for the vast majority of people is the most important thing. Literally and figuratively. I went to the last HTC event here in la it was awesome I won a free gift card the ladies at the door were really nice warm and inviting and I got a chance to rest my skepticism of beats audio in which I told everyone I knew about. I work for sprint and would Love to have the One X so it can continue on the legacy started by the evo 4G

    During the EVO 4G life time you had a customer appreciation function in Dallas, Texas. (was actually in Grapevine, which is between Dallas and Fort Worth) and i was extremely pleased to see HTC doing an event like this.

      The HTC One is our newest phone which we just announced at Mobile World Congress.  As for other phones being updated to ICS, we recently posted information here on the HTC Blog about timing for Ice Cream Sandwich on other devices.  You can read that post by going to http://blog.htc.com/2012/03/ics/.

With the average mean age in the 30 somethings, we are also one of the most technically savvy and socially connected cities in the world. Austin is also the home to the University of Texas, one of the largest public colleges in the nation.     Cant wait to get my hands on HTC One S…have been waiting for a month and it is finally launched in India…still waiting to arrive at the store near me. But i hate to know that it is being shipped with 1.7Ghz S3 processor instead of S4 1.5. I hope overclocking da processor does the trick…fingers crossed..!!

        The update is coming.Usually these things take time but normally faster than updates from other manufacturers.This is my 4th HTC handset,so I know.Though yes this phone lacks an sd card and battery lasts only a day.

    Shame on you! You insult my intelligence by saying the DHD doesn’t have the required juice to run ICS. Your current flagship, the One X has been released in February. It will get JB but it will probably not get the next version of android which should be released after February next year so after 2-3 months when it finally receives it’s update it may well be regarded as an eol device.

    Hey All, just checking to see if anyone has had an issue with HTC One XL model and HTC car app.  Looks great, until I used it the second time.  Every time I opened it and clicked the navigation button, I then clicked speak location, and the app crashed on me.  Tried it several times today, but it kept shutting down on me.  Restored factory settings now, so will see how it goes.

    Anyone had similar experiences?

    please provide jellybean upgrade for HTC ONE V…it is very unfair that one v is being overlooked…its a very popular phone among youngsters in india…HTC seems to care only about the high phone users!!!…please release a jellybean update for ONE V…u cant blame the hardware for not releasing it..because a lot of other companies have already announced that they will be releasing updates for their phones which have similar specs as one V…HTC care nothing about the mid range lo/mid range customer’s satisfation!!!…i’m telling all my friends never to buy a HTC device!!!..

    HTC you need official representative here in Israel. There is a company called “Touchgroup” that sells your devices but they are not even officially registered with you but they say they are. The prices of theirs are 30 % higher than in the stores. Really, I saw here lots of comments from Israel. But why not to come to Israel where evryone buy smartphone and the decent one ?
