“That’s why we pledge to include software updates for all of our devices for up to two years after their launch date.”

This is sooo not true, because HTC One S stopped receiving updates less than a full year after the launch! No more HTCs for me!

Hate the new gallery patch. Glad I didn’t download it. Too many forced
changes with no options to disable. Read the comments on Play Store.
    Loads of dissatisfied customers.

Not only is my battery life completely awful on my HTC One, but now I have this ultrapixel camera that appears in low lighting shots. This is an obvious internal error that I want fixed. Every time I purchase an HTC I think it’s going to be a good purchase & every time you fail me. Your products do not last & are a waste of money. I am a broke college student, so buying an entirely new phone is not an option for me. Can you at least replace this piece of junk you sold me or can you not even do that?

It would be great if HTC allowed you to choose between on-screen back/home/recents buttons. I love the look of the new minimal ones in “L” but can understand that HTC want to implement their own. The choice would great though and get it one (more) up on other flagships. Same goes for the recent apps/multitasking screen. Let’s be honest, the current one is awful. The card centered design on “L” looks so much better. But again, they want to put their mark on things so a choice would be good and would trump other flagships. As for the notification shade, the android “L” shade and quick settings look great and I hope HTC stick to its design. They better keep a “stock” shade! Though if it was altered slightly by what HTC theme you had applied then I suppose that would be good. I also hope that they let you choose the settings shown as they currently do in sense 6 (possibly earlier versions as well, I’m not sure). Yet another must for HTC is to keep the material design aspects of “L”. For the past few versions of android, its been getting prettier. But a few OEMs *cough*Samsung*cough*Sony*cough* have smothered it with their bloated UIs. HTC however has stuck close to stock android and, In many areas, improved upon it. I just hope they stick by this and keep the material design in sense, as I doubt Samsung and Sony will. (Almost done) the settings in sense 6 are disappointingly limited. Even coming from a (stock android) nexus 5 I was a little surprised at how limited the settings were on the One M8. I love to customise every little bit of my phone (as much as I can without rooting/custom ROMs) to make it my own-a huge part of why I hate iOS. But with the oneM8 I am left feeling dissatisfied. When “L” comes to town I hope HTC expands their customisability with some of the suggestions I (and maybe others) have mentioned as well as googles and some of HTCs own magic. Finally, blinkfeed. I don’t use it and no one that I know who owns a HTC uses it (one calls it an annoyance). I currently use nova launcher to feed my customising urge. I may not use blinkfeed, but I do, however, use google now a lot. What would be great is the ability to choose between Google Now and Blinkfeed on the left home screen panel. And of HTC are feeling super nice, allow their launcher to be fully customisable like nova/apex. I really do hope someone reads this and take some of it on board cause it took a long time to type it. And it would show HTC care about their customers and are true to android and google unlike some other OEMs… Thanks!

What I’d appreciate even MORE than an Android L update is an Android L update “WITHOUT” HTC Sense covering up elements of it. If customers REALLY come first, then how about making SENSE, Blinkfeed, the Duo Camera app and ALL that other stuff, individual apps that we can opt to use or shut off or even uninstall? I’ve owned almost nothing but HTC handsets since the original HERO and currently carry a Verizon ONE M8. I LIKE HTC HANDSETS but I’M SURE that I’m not the only customer who would like to see this implemented and what would it hurt? I bought your phone based on design, material, build quality and the fact that it is an Android device. You’ve done a CRACKING job on the physical device and while HTC Sense isn’t bad, I just want more Android. What would it hurt to give me that? Seriously… I get enough inflexibility from my carrier, OK?

I did the Sense 6 update on my HTC one M7 a few days ago. all my exchange contacts disappeared.
I since removed the account and tried to reset up it again only to find that I was unable to reset up the account.
I rang customer service yesterday and they are looking into it for me but does anyone out there have a fix?
I use this phone for my business and not knowing who’s running me is causing problems.
    please help

Hi, I use a lot of apps and games, I found HTC Desire 816 super awesome for the price. I am keen on buying it but the only thing that concerns me is internal storage. As we all know many apps are not installed in sd card nor they are transferable. Is there any plan on launching 16 GB model or if someone who uses can reply about issues low internal storage please let me know.

HTC one M8 is good but can’t understand why they deleted Notes app from productivity folder. M7 had notes which was getting sync with evernotes. It is recommended that they bring back the notes app

I can’t download any message sent to me and others in a group. Any messages I get individually work well, but not any messages others send to me as a group message. Why? HTC, why? Went to Verizon and they said that HTC is are of they problem and is working on an update. Called HTC customer support and was told by attendant that he never heard of any problem like that and that to help me,I need to call from another phone. Thought landline use was over for me years ago. HTC, wassup? HELP,for goodness sake! Btw, battery life sucks too.

  • Joe Neely

I love HTC and have had nothing but HTC phones for the last few years. But I got the m8 a little over a month ago and I like so many others am having problems with the camera lens. My first m8, I got replaced by Verizon, and now my replacement phone which is only 2 weeks old Has developed the same problem. I even called HTC this go around and you guys acknowledge that the problem that I’m not the only one to have this problem. Plus if you Google it, tons of complaints are found. Being that I’m an emergency worker for the county that I live in, I can go without my phone. But the only option I have to get it fixed is to send it to you then wait for it to be fixed? I’m really disappointed in you HTC for the way you have handled this.

from : A harassed customer of HTC

I have purchased HTC DESIRE 501 IMEI NO : 358035050129372 on 12/3/2014 from Raju Japan store , C.G. Road , Ahmedabad (bill no. 16206). My phone has stopped its vibrating function and tends to hang often on 8-7-14 . So I contacted HTC service centre , TVS-E Services Ltd. , Ahmedabad on 12-7-14 . Here I was given assurance that vibrator is defective and battery has poor lifetime and both the issues will be solved within 3 days and they would call me to pick up the phone. they never called me again. so when i inquire about the phone they say it will take still 3-4 days. After repeated inquiries and getting the same answer i got upset. Finally today on 24-7-14 service centre representative is telling me that it will take still 5-6 days since vibrator is not in stock at your warehouse . I cannot believe such foolish statements about the company of caliber like HTC. please look into my matter and stop my harassment so that i can get my phone back soon
